What We Bring to the Community
Collaborative Mindset
We connect with needs, goals and dreams of the communities we work with and in. We also tend to the individual’s health, making sure they are safe and ready to receive acupuncture.
Acupuncture
We bring the needles (sterile, stainless steel, hair-thin) and the know-how to make the group experience as relaxing as possible.
Teaching and Group Facilitation
Laura has been teaching and in group facilitation for over 25 years. She has led retreats, taught at conferences and workshops, teaches weekly movement classes (qi gong and yoga) to different general and affinity groups such as robotics clubs, therapy groups, menopause classes and more. She is adaptable to needs of groups and is happy to devote time in group sessions to teaching about Chinese medicine philosophy, leading and practicing meditation, qi gong, yoga, and aromatherapy.
Joy, Purpose and Big Vision
Laura’s purpose is to bring joy and pain relief to as many as possible. This joy is palpable in how much fun she has creating and working in a group format. While she may have a proclivity of Mom jokes, the enthusiasm is infectious.
Laura also dreams that a collaborative and group oriented healthcare model might be able to make healthcare in general more effective and financially accessible. Acupuncture is a low cost, minimally invasive treatment that is easy to facilitate in a group format.

“Her yoga classes are inclusive, friendly, and most of all, adaptive to her students’ needs.”
Laura is amazing! I was hesitant to try yoga because I had major ankle surgery just 3 years ago and the joint can still be painful. However, once Laura found out she Immediately started looking into ways to adapt poses to take the strain off my injury. Her yoga classes are inclusive, friendly, and most of all, adaptive to her students’ needs.

“What I appreciate most about Laura is how much she genuinely cares—she’s even helped me find local resources as a new mom, which has been a lifesaver. .”
I’ve been seeing Laura throughout my postpartum, and it’s made a huge difference for me. Her acupuncture sessions are not only relaxing but have really helped me feel more balanced physically and emotionally. She also incorporates aromatherapy, which I didn’t know I needed, but it’s been amazing in helping me unwind. What I appreciate most about Laura is how much she genuinely cares—she’s even helped me find local resources as a new mom, which has been a lifesaver. I highly recommend her to anyone, especially new moms looking for extra support.
